Odíhg Zùsātù (/zʊ/ /ˈsəˑtʊ/ [military] [dirty]) is a subtropical Town located in the Gesiēinsu Region of the Tetbur Commune.

The name Odíhg Zùsātù is derived from the Tauric language, as Odíhg Zùsātù was founded by Cothiel Shankland, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Odíhg Zùsātù was founded durring the early 12th century in spring of the year 1141, by Cothiel Shankland. The establishment of Odíhg Zùsātù suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Odíhg Zùsātù which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

The town's robustly designed timber walls have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.

Odíhg Zùsātù has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Odíhg Zùsātù ’s existence was once fed by scholarly pursuits. But the income once drawn in by the works of scribes and academics has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. Everywhere about the town one can see abandoned schools, libraries, and other academic structures. Locals can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear the town places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual. Even in these times.

Cultural Notes

The locals have cut a deal with some unspeakable entity, trading some form of tribute (benign of horrific) in exchange for the being’s forbearance or assistance. Outsiders may be ignorant of the bargain, or they may know that the community is in thrall but be too fearful of its master to take action against them. The creature likely serves as a protector as well as a tyrant, so the locals may be content with the deal even if it doesn’t offer any further inducement or aid.

Odíhg Zùsātù's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its functional shapes, abstract shapes used sparingly for decor, simple color schemes, holistic design, and basic industrial materials. Its simple designs were created to be beautiful, functional, and mass-producible. The style used little to no embellishment or ornamentation, instead drawing attention to the streamlined design, such as flat roofs to create a simple, geometric look. The simplicity masks the style's nearly sinister functionality, as every last feature is designed to guide the people living in the building in how to make the most efficient use of the structure.
